Course Duration

✔ 24 weeks: November 2026 – April 2027

✔ 48 hours

Session A (Cantonese)

Zoom lesson every Tuesday, 9 -11 p.m. HK time, beginning 10/11/2026.

Session B (English)

Zoom lesson every Friday, 9 -11 p.m. HK time, beginning 13/11/2026.

Students may choose to attend either Session A or Session B. Students are required to attend weekly lessons to ensure progress. There will be no makeup lessons. Lesson video would be available on request.

Course materials, assignments, and past papers from 2017 are provided. A few reference books are recommended. Students only need to purchase the set work scores to bring to the exam.

Weekly written assignments are due 24 hours before the next lesson. Assignments are submitted in a PDF file labeled with the student’s name and date. Feedback will be provided in the next lesson.

Students who plan to take the November 2026 exam and need help with last-minute review may contact me directly to schedule an appointment. Time slots are limited. First come, first served.

Students who plan to take the May 2027 exam and wish to strengthen their music theory foundation may take a short 2-Month Theory Enhancement course (September to October 2027) to prepare for the 6-Month course (November 2026 to April 2027).

• Payment in full: US$2,250 paid at the beginning of the course.

• Two installments of US$1,150.

• Six monthly installments of US$400.

3-Month Theory Enhancement Course (August - October 2026) 12 hours

• Payment in full: US$700
