How to Transition from Tonal to Post-tonal Writing?

A step-by-step guide for composers who feel "stuck" in tonality. You'll learn how to write freely beyond major/minor systems - with examples, strategies, and hands-on activities.
Day 2 - June 25, 2025
Introduction to AI-Inspired Music Composition
With Dr. Michael Leung Chi-Hin

Explore the creative role of AI in music. Dr. Leung will share tools, examples, and insights on how AI can support - not replace - your compositional process.
Day 3 - June 28, 2025
Showcase of Student Compositions with Dr. Sheung-Ping Lai
09:30-10:30 AM EST (21:30-22:30 HKT)
Submit your original composition or assignment from Day 1 for a chance to be featured and receive live feedback. All submitted pieces will receive comments from Dr. Lai, even if not presented live.
Registration is open until June 17, 2025.
