AMusTCL 6-Month Online Course for May 2026 Exam

This course is most suitable for students who have passed Grade 8 in Music Theory and plan to take the AMusTCL exam in May 2026.

Pre-requisite: Grade 8 Music Theory (preferably within the past five years).
Course Duration
✔ 24 weeks: November 2025 – April 2026
✔48 hours
Session A (Cantonese)
Zoom lesson every Monday and Thursday 9 -10 p.m. HK time, beginning 10/11/2025.
Session B (English)
Zoom lesson every Monday and Thursday 10 -11 p.m. HK time, beginning 10/11/2025.
Students may choose to attend either Session A or Session B. To ensure progress, students are required to attend weekly lessons. There will be no makeup lessons. The Zoom lesson video would be available on request.
Course materials, assignments and past papers since 2017 are provided. Students only need to purchase the set work scores to bring to the exam.
Weekly written assignments are due 24 hours before the next lesson. Assignments are submitted in PDF files labeled under the student’s name and date. Feedback will be provided in the next lesson.
Students who plan to take the November 2026 exam and wish to strengthen their music theory foundation may take a 3-Month Theory Enhancement course (February-April 2026) prior to the 6-Month Intensive course (May to October 2026).
Payment Options:
6-Month AMusTCL Course (November 2025 – April 2026) 48 hours
• Payment in full: US$1,650 paid at the beginning of the course.
• Two installments of US $900.
• Three installments of US$640.
3-Month Theory Enhancement Course (February – April 2026) 12 hours
• Payment in full: US$700
