Day 1: My Musical Journey as a Cross-Cultural Composer and Educator

Speaker: Dr. Sheung-Ping Lai


Day 2: My Career as a Multidisciplinary Composer and Producer: Collaboration between Composer and People

Speaker: Dr. Anthony Cheng


Day 3: Collaboration Between Composer and Librettist

Speakers: Dr. Pui-Shan Cheung & Ms. Pansy Lai


Day 4: Music, Creativity, and Education in the Digital Era

Speaker: Dr. Michael Leung Chi-Hin

Dr. Leung will talk about how technology is changing music. He’ll show examples of using digital tools in education and creating new ways to experience music.


Day 5: Showcase of Student Compositions

If you are an adult beginner composer, you are welcome to submit an original score in a PDF file and a video/audio recording (within 4 minutes) to be featured on the final day. Selected works will be shared and discussed, with feedback from Dr. Lai. Even if your work isn’t presented, you’ll still get comments to help you improve.
